ENVIRONMENT

The Montessori environment is a wide and open, orderly, aesthetic, simple, real place, where each element has its reason for being in the development of the children. The environment is provided to suit the children, with low shelves and different sizes of tables and chairs where they sit individually or in groups. The classroom is subdivided into thematic areas where the corresponding materials and bibliography are displayed and allows great freedom of movement. Children can work in groups or individually, thus respecting their own style and pace. Each child uses the material they choose by taking it from the shelf and returning it to her place so it can be used by others.

The environment promotes the child's independence in exploration and the learning process. Freedom and self-discipline make it possible for each child to find activities that respond to her evolving needs.

The Montessori classroom brings together children of three different ages: under 3 years old, from 3 to 6 years old, from 6 to 9 years old and from 9 to 13 years old. The integrated rooms favor spontaneous cooperation, the desire to learn, mutual respect and the deep incorporation of knowledge through the exercise of teaching others.
